Beauty by KennethJensen Beauty by KennethJensen
Beauty is a portrait style scene that i have been experimenting with, as i always want to test out new methods and styles to achieve unique and exiting effects. With this in mind i focused on noise on this one, and the reason for that is simple.

I want to create something that was meant to be like a photo not taken on or from earth, but with equipment that have been in space for a long time. I tried to underline the following by giving it a shortage of details and at the same time, give it an artistik look.

So i hope you like it, and i will see you later!

Sincerely
Kenneth Jensen

It's well named. Instant favorite.

I like that you used artistic license, but didn't run with it. Your picture's not exactly 100% hard science, but it's close enough to be believable (being quite pretty doesn't hurt, either).

One of my biggest pet peeves is people who just chuck realism out the window for no apparent reason.

I could not agree more. Realism and detail is one thing, but to try to be a copymachine is not that great most of the times...

What I really love about this is the composition of shperical bodies and contrast of light and dark between the star and the planet with its moons. This looks fantastic!!
What program did you use for the work?
