Birth of Orbit in 2560 x 1600

EDIT 12 July 2010: It turns out that JPEG file was a bad choise so here it is in PNG. Now the gradient is far smoother. Plus the rings around the orbit is not visible

I really like this wall, but the banding ruins it. Try redoing the the background gradient in Adobe 1998 colour space. Sometimes blurring will help, sometimes it make it worst. Good luck. If you can fix the the banding I will suggest this to all the wallpaper groups I'm in.
