So, i was playing the PS3 game "Journey" the other night. And not only is it a fantastic game, but it is also one of the most artistic games out there. So with that game in mind, i thought i would try my own vision of the game's goal.

The reason for it's odd resolution, is because i wanted to make a print of this picture and get it on a wide canvas for my room. Maybe i'll post the results later:)

I hope you like it, and i wish you all a happy easter!

Good. It could be like Niven's Ringworld, but impossible moon in the orbit of Arch mess up impression.

Well, unfortunately. I haven't read Niven's Ringworld as this is just a vision i had from playing a game earlier.

I gave it a shot but, i still have alot to learn.

Hey Kenneth,
I wish you a happy easter too :bounce:
So here again a little yatter from me:
I´m a little double minded with this picture :}
First of all, I like the backround the shady mountains in blue and the sky full of stars and a beautiful moon. The ray of light fits totally into this szene, its interesting but everything is blue, maybe this could have an other colore (I don´t know if a little purple or verry light pink would ruin the peaceful sceneary)
ok here is the other side:
Every time I lay my hand on the lower left corner and hide every mountain, rock and snow with yellow lightening, 'the Journey' pleases me more.
Yes, I know, its a third of the whole picture...maybe its just me who is distracted by the fore.
All in all.... I like 2/3 of this picture ^-^
Season's Greetings

Hi Keszanne and happy easter!

I tested it out, and i see what you mean. But i gave it a shot (and it came out the way i imagined it would, but more color would be better) So maybe i just do something similar yo this, but with grass and trees instead?

Anyway, thanks for your oppinion Anne, always appriciated:D

Ne ne, the szene is great, I like mountains.
Maybe you could use the same colore in the front as in the back? Or yust let the biggest mountain as light as it is and make the rest in shades of blue? or let the left rocks and snow away and just concentrate on the backside of the big mountain, or instead of getting higer with the landscape on the left you could let it go downward and show more of the landscape behind it.
Its hard to describe, if you want to, I do a muro to show you what I mean :}
Fröhliche Ostern :}
